Experience how the simple act of breathing can transform the way you feel, think and perceive your cells using the ancient method of Breath Infusion Pranayama.
Your body is designed to experience a full range of naturally occurring blissful sensations. In these moments of deep relaxation, healing energy (qi or prana) is at a peak to circulate throughout the body. This precious gift of life is free, abundant and all around us. All you need to do is breathe!
According to the ancient yogis, qi dwells in the air. Because off this, breathing techniques (pranayama) are the most powerful type of Qigong and Yoga. The Breath Infusion method is an intense and specific sequence of breathing patterns that will have you vibrating with qi from head to toe. It works by flooding the blood with oxygen and electrical energy that flushes out blockages and toxins for deep healing.
This candlelight evening class will begin with YOQI Yoga + Qigong stretches to prepare the body for the 30 minute guided Breath Infusion Pranayama session followed by a blissful savasana (rest). Note: Due to the nature of this practice, it is not recommended for anyone with seizures, asthma, heart disease or is pregnant.
Marisa Cranfill Young is an international speaker and YOQI yoga + qigong founder. She has been a committed practitioner of conscious embodiment, integrating Vipassana meditation, qigong, yoga and energy medicine practices. Marisa discovered qigong over 15 years ago while attending university in China and combined it with a yoga practice, experiencing amazing results: more energy, deep healing, and insight to nature’s unlimited potential.
