
| Apart from being an avid yoga practitioner, the founder and director of Elements plays many roles. Adrian Phillip Cox had his first taste of yoga in 1993 in his hometown of Seattle, where he was learning Iyengar yoga under Eve Nyman. He went on to obtain his RYT-200 status since 1999 under the guidance of Cyndi Lee of OM Yoga, New York.Leaving New York, he spent two years exploring India, Nepal and Turkey. During his pilgrimage, he was blessed with the teaching of Yogaratna BNS Iyengar (Mysore, India), the King of Backbending - Venkatesh (Mysore, India), Dr Yogi Vikashananda (Katmandu, Nepal), and Swami Veda Bharati (Rishikesh India). His 6 months in the Bihar School of Yoga (Munger, India) was especially meaningful and served as an invaluable experience he speaks highly of. |

His other roles include being a certified hypnotist and master energy healer.He also holds a certificate in Ayurvedic Medicine, and continues to study Advanced Yoga and Ayurveda as well as Vedic Astrology under Dr David Frawley, whom is widely recognized for his Vedic teachings both in India and in the west.
While his daily routine involves that of yoga asana and pranayama practice, and meditation, Adrian is persistently exploring subjects on philosophies, mysticism, and Kashmir Shaivism.
Adrian is also a certified Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner, and uses these modalities to continuously develop Yoga Elements Teacher Training Course to help students tap into their highest potentials. |
