These practices elevate you to new possibilities in your body and mind. Learn technical, step by step methods for deep exploration and refinement of Uddiyana Bandha and Nauli Kriya, including self abdominal massage and learning uddiyana and nauli in various positions. This will be followed by an energy moving hatha-vinyasa for every joint and conclude with shavasana bhastrika mouth breathing for a powerful energy overflow that can awaken you in unexpected ways. Enhancing your awareness of energy patterns in body and mind, this can even sometimes result in spontaneous mudras, emotions, or life revelations. This workshop is recommended for experienced practitioners who want to push the edge a bit.


Sri Yantra Meditation: Visions of Auspiciousness

Sri Yantra is actually OM as a visual graphic. Yantra means a visual tool for meditation and Sri means auspicious. Sri Yantra is often described as a meditative tool that will help one to balance their mind and achieve the fulfilment of their desires.

Through an introduction explaining the philosophy of Meditation and Samadhi, Yantra and Bindhu you will have a clear connection for working with Sri Yantra. Sri Yanta’s precise and highly specific form develops your concentration and is also great training for your eyes. Some people will even experience improvement in their vision with regular practice! If you wear corrective lenses, if it is possible please take them off for this experience.

After the introduction and theory the practice starts with short and intense series of basic yoga asana, breathing exercises, and relaxation through yoga nidra to profoundly balance the body and mind in preparation for Sri Yantra gazing. Sitting looking at Sri Yantra placed on the wall at eye level. You will get your own Sri Yantra diagram to practice with at the studio and to take home for continued practice.


How to Make A Handstand

Do you struggle with handstand? Do you think you could improve your handstand technique? Do you want to refine or take your handstand to the next level of challenge? This 2.5 hour session will go through an entire Handstand journey from absolute beginning, strengthening our most foundational understanding of how to engage the body properly for handstand and evolving through stages of greater challenge or different ways of entering the Handstand. This workshop also gives you knowledge on balancing the body in strength and flexibility between the front and the backsides and increasing your body awareness. To do this you will also practice and learn core exercises, shoulder stretches, forward bends, and arm and shoulder stability exercises. You will find these lessons benefit many other aspects of your Hatha Yoga practice.


George is a YES graduate circa 2009 who also taught in the studio for a number of years. He now teaches and travels internationally conducting workshops, retreats, and teacher trainings.
