Downward Facing Dog

This posture is practiced in every class  and is much more interesting and complicated than what first meets the eye. There are many hidden techniques we can use to make this 'common' pose feel and look much better. 

This workshop will focus on 6 areas of the body- hamstring lengthening, creating good feet arches, tilting the pelvis, strengthening the back, and opening the shoulders. These must-know techniques will have beginning and advanced students discovering many unexpected improvements!

Breath & Bandha

It is all about CORE strength- it is what you need in order to A) Protect your back in backbends B) lift up and stay up in arm balances and inversions and C) feel light and connected in your practice. This workshop focuses on a very practical and achievable approach to bandha- the three internal locks- which is usually taught in ways that are hard to understand and apply. You will learn the anatomy and use many different asana to help you feel what you need to do from the inside. Highly recommended workshop!
